In a recent update to the current developer build of 10.6.2, Apple changed a lot of the CPU information and one of the notable changes was the removal of Intel’s Atom chip as we reported earlier in the week. However, now the latest development build 10C535 shows the Atom alive and well. What does this mean to you? Well it looks like your netbook hackintosh hopes have not been dashed afterall. Nothing is confirmed until the final version of Apple’s Snow Leopard OS is out in version 10.6.2, but it appears order has been restored.
