Im a college student and i want a netbook that will take pictures and has a webcam. I want something with a good low price and will last long. I want something that has wireless internet and good battery and wont get viruses easily. It has to have microsoft word and powerpoint.

any computer you buy will probably not have word and powerpoint you have to buy microsofts software to get those. in regards to the laptop choice i would go with either the dell or hp. i feel that they are bigger more reliable companies and there is a reason why like 95% of businesses use one of these companies. i have an hp laptop my parents just bought me as im going to college next year as well and i love it. hope you find what u want. peace.

i can’t really tell you about others, but i (at the moment) am using an aser aspire one. 160 gb hard drive, 1 gb ram. 5.5 hour average battery life ( i once sqeezed out 7 hours). got it for $370 in december, 08. its much cheaper now. about viruses, get a good anti virus program. i use avast, and its free.
